that looks like a quartz watch, so not mechanical. But I get what you mean, in comparison with digital and "smart" watches, this analog watch would appear "mechanical."
"Mechanical" watches are watches that keep time completely mechanically (lots of springs and gears). That's the limit of my knowledge of watches.

my mistake is primarily from not knowing what that specific watch model is; I didn't say anything fundamentally wrong (just said "that looks like a quartz watch" and continued commenting based on this mistaken assumption)
I thought it was just another quartz because it looked like a cheap $100-200 watch I see most people wear. So I'm "poor" if I don't know the name and type of every single watch, let alone a lower end model?
