eth does about 1.25m per day, which is its maximum as it was the same when they minted some nft collection that made gas go up to 700 gwei
source is bitinfocharts

lel median transaction value 1.8c

now post haircomb transactions

did u know you usually pay about 5-20cents tx fee + 1-3% to traditional payment processors?
Now see that they send 1.8c median across BSV. Now realise that this means they also send even SMALLER amounts than 1.8c. Do you understand how low the fees must be for this to be worth it?
This is why Bitcoin is valuable user
Benjamin Morris
you are saying the tx amount is big
im saying the transactions are being spoofed because who the fuck needs to send 1.8c
Jayden James
Well there are use-cases for teeny tiny payments. We just couldn't do it so far, because as I said previously the tx fees of trad finance are too high. Imagine instead of subscribing to WSJ you pay per article when you visit the website. So instead of paying an idk $5 subscription, you pay 1c and so do millions of others, so WSJ makes more money than before and you pay less than sub and you get to choose what article you want to read and which you dont

Whu does xrp have so many txs according to this chart?
Dylan Hall
theyre so EXPENSIVE!!!
Cameron Ramirez
Those are theoretical use cases as nobody is doing those rn. Also, they are paying far more in fees than 1.8c
Probably more than a dollar

no permissionless chain is ever going to be relevant in the big picture. Enjoy the Hobssian paradise as long as it lasts

I don't believe that

i just paid 0.00000912 bsv for a 0.01bsv tx. if price of 1 bsv is 60$ thats 60*0.00000912 = $0.0005472 so uhm like in cents ~0.055
Jace Wood
Banks using it on private networks for remittances. Once they are switched over to the public network the price will go parabolic

Checked, but also the idea of some payment system becoming the global standard because it's good at the specific use case of spamming 1c transactions to spoof a relevant amount of blockchain activity is lol
Kevin Flores
only 1 of the big three has real transactions
Thomas Gonzalez
It's believable. The catch is that ETH has legitimate valuable transactions while other chains like Bitcoin SV that do "more" are mostly worthless spam transactions.
Levi Anderson
>transactions to spoof
>spam transactions.
Such things do not exist. The transactions are paid for and executed. Simple as. There is no authority to decide if something is spam or not. I just sent myself 0.01 back and forth 3 times to test something, is that spam?
Regardless, even if you "spammed" ETH and BTC they would not be able to cope with the workload. That is the insight to be had here.

lel it's a game transaction
