How do I guarantee profit? I don’t know how to count cards in blackjack but I have the basic strategy chart memorized. Can I make money by keeping a running count in my head and playing the basic strategy and betting big when there’s a plus count or do I have to memorize other charts depending on the count?

You only need to memories basic strategy chart. Card counting only works if you do it perfectly and if you know how to alter your bets based on count. Otherwise it's a waste of time and won't help you at all.
If you do card counting you have the edge over the house, but if they find out you'll get kicked out.
Dude, blackjack card counting days are over in vegas. You won't be able to outcount a 8 shoe deck that's always on shuffle.
Best bet would be to go to smaller casinos and try your luck there.
What I would suggest is get a friend and practice counting cards with him before going to Vegas

Card counting is a solved problem for casinos. Although you may get a theoretical edge against casinos, in practice it doesn't exist because casinos cheat.
There is no recent case of a card counter making serious money. Think about why this is. If you had a 2% edge against casinos, and it worked, you should be a billionaire in six months.

They can cheat by shuffling a hot shoe at any time, using waiters to distract you, speed dealing, only dealing part of the deck leaving you with low penetration (ie half a deck), not shuffling properly, using preset shuffles, and that's just for starters.

Even shuffling poorly is enough to destroy card counters. Card counting requires a specific type of distribution that is negated by a poor shuffle.
