Both Magnemite and Voltorb can be found in New Mauville.

That makes them Hoenn Pokémon.

How does gamefreak plan their trainers out for non-third versions? It seems like a lot of the time important trainers would have awful teams like this

>game doesn't conform to my retarded unovafag headcanon
wow

Just play the real game

>deemed non canon by remakes

They run up to a random guy in the office and say "Quick, name X Pokemon that are this type."
And every time he stutters and says the same Pokemon twice, they include it twice.

You mean the remakes which talk about alternate realities?

These can literally do nothing against Marshtomp or even Grovyle. Did they playtest their own games?

Please stop saying that OR/AS are misunderstood and underrated, look at this. Why did they lowered the levels? Why the movepools are worse? Why they only have three moves? Muh R/S is bad! R/S is as bad as D/P! I never played it but i will say it because it doesn't have muh battle frontier!!

Grovyle actually kind of sucks against Wattson unless you grossly overlevel him. He doesn't have a good enough STAB to hit Manectric hard enough before it sets up too many Howls. The matchup vs Magneton is even worse because of its steel typing, not to mention that Grovyle is gonna be paralyzed, possibly confused and taking solid damage from both Shock Wave and Sonicboom.

Is there an ORAS ROM hack that changes all the wild encounters and NPC teams to the Emerald ones?

Without any of the le difficulty bullshit, preferably.

You could just do it yourself.

>Just play the real game
>Howl + Quick Attack as the only physical move on ace
>Volt Switch is better than Shock Wave as well
I thought Emerald was so much better than ORAS Hoennbros?

>French
Opinion discarded.

If you have a ground type like marshtomp volt switch is completely useless, so magnemite only have tackle, volotorb only has useless charge and useless rollout and magneton has supersonic and magnet bomb, wow! + the fact that they have lower levels and no 4th move for some reason

They should have just given him a plusle, minun, electrike and manectric

>If you chose the Water starter (in the region notorious for its Waterbtw, which also equates to a ton of Water Pokemon available), the gym is still piss easy!
The only 4th move slot relevant in Emerald is Thunder Wave anyways, which doesn't do anything as Manectric is already incredibly fast at that point of the game meaning it's a coinflip if it does anything

The Emerald Magneton isn't even the ace and it still has a higher level than Wattson's ORAS ace. The ORAS Voltorb can't blow up, and only Magnemite carries Thunderwave. It's not only that the enemy movesets have been neutered in ORAS, it's also that in ORAS, the movepools of your Pokémon are VASTLY better than in Gen 3 games.

>The Emerald Magneton isn't even the ace and it still has a higher level than Wattson's ORAS ace.
Doesn't make it better as the moves it has in Emerald have a lower base power than ORAS. Magnet Bomb and steel moves in general are also good with Fairy being introduced in the generation which ORAS released.
>The ORAS Voltorb can't blow up
Dies in one hit, and the A.I. isn't going to use Self-Destruct prior to Voltorb taking damage.
>It's not only that the enemy movesets have been neutered in ORAS, it's also that in ORAS, the movepools of your Pokémon are VASTLY better than in Gen 3 games.
Emerald's bigger moveset doesn't make the fight significantly more difficult, and giving more options to the player is never a bad thing even in this circumstance
Every "important" battle starting from Norman is stronger in ORAS than their Emerald counterpart (with Tate and Liza being arguably the only exception) jsyk
