# That makes no sense because he literally gave Serena advice on the second to last episode, after taking the initative to take her out to do things she likes and then battled her to help her get out of her slump. JN Ash would probably be autitically bouncing
>mentored Sawyer, got his ass beat >told Alain to participate in the league, lost to him in it Cope because JN Ash is smart enough to keep his advice from people that can use it against him, Serena was just a non-threat.
Ok everyone, after 25 years of watching Ash what do you believe he thinks being a Pokemon Master is?
I think the clue is that he starts every new region with a new team besides pikachu. He probably envisions it as someone who can bring out the full potential of any pokemon and win with them.

Ash stopped the 2nd Gym match vs Brock because he didn't wanted to win by a triggered sprinkler.
He waited for Krokorok to get his sunglasses back because he wants to face his opponent at his best.
Ash would've been bummed out if he knew Alain could've made a difference in the league but wasn't present.
It's not that Ash dislikes to loses or get his Ass whooped, it's about how he loses or wins.

That's literally a non-argument. Good job. Tomiyasu doesn't understand his character at all. XY might have been a bit too much in one direction, but it's better than the trash we have now. It's narrative dissonance no matter how you slice it.

>it's about how he loses or wins. Ash also lost to Ritchie because his Charizard wouldn't listen to him, he's improved as a trainer user, in more ways than one, and (You) just have to accept that.
He wants to be the very best, like no one ever was.
Cameron Martin
I accept your concession since clearly have no idea how to argue or what dissonace means. Next.

If Ash got a girlfriend that was a female we've never seen before, the other girls who crushed on him would be disappointed but would be able to move on, happy that Ash is happy. Serena would have a mental breakdown and be unable to continue her goal because of how Ash related it was. She is very unhealthy. I only hope she gets the help she needs.
>he's not acting the exact same way in different circumstances at different points in his story so that's bad writing I'm so glad you're not a writer for the anime user.
Thomas Martin
I accepted that he improved, I made a point about the aspect of his wins/losses.
If you lose to a better opponent, ok you improve yourself and train maybe more. If you win because there was no challenge or you get bailed out by luck, what's the point? If you lose in a match because your team wasn't coordinated or refuses to stop doing their own thing, then it's just fucking stupid and frustrating, because you lose by something out of your hand.

>inconsistecy is good!
Try again

>it's just fucking stupid and frustrating, because you lose by something out of your hand. I agree, I'm just stating that his decision to not give any of his opponent's advice on how to beat him, and even making them think you're dumber than you actually are is a good strategy. Even in past series, they said that the battle starts the moment you acknowledge someone as your opponent
Samuel Lopez
Him learning from the mistakes that cost him dearly in the past is not an inconsistency unless you are trying to say that him having his pokemon listen to him is an inconsistency.

And Ash is an ugly smelly fuck, I wouldn't want to be near any of them
