I dont even dislike the chibi stuff and think it looks charming in a way. But it should have been like how Dragon Quest XI lets you go from modern 3d graphics to 2d snes style.
BDSP are the first remakes to not have graphics comparable to the mainline game of the same gen. Muh faithful remake is an awful philosophy...especially when fucking Platinum exists
