How do we fix Any Forums?

Whether you enjoyed gen 8 or not, it's hard not to say that it contributed to this board taking a massive fucking nosedive in quality.
While doomerposting has existed since ~gen 6, it really started to take off in gen 8, after the fanbase split in two due to the dex purge, reused assets and animations, and so on.
Nowadays the most active threads are falseflagging threads, bait threads, and off-topic nonsense (think of those weird threads about race, trannies, etc.) Interesting and productive threads and fewer and far between, and even those get hijacked by falseflaggers who just use retarded buzzword soups to get people riled up.

I don't even think it's a coordinated discord campaign or whatever. I just think this place has become like reddit, where the same tired old takes get the most replies and engagement. I'd say the mods should take some action but their response would be to delete this thread for being "off-topic" lol

Actually moderate and janitor the place. simple as. Any Forums has incel mods but at least they exist. You could clean up US cities with this attitude.
I don't know if gen wars can ever go away since posting pictures of the box art is not an invitation to a gen war and it can elucidate discussion, but ban mention of discord groups or accusations of "raids."
