what the fuck the mixing on that is absolutely atrocious. how did it even pass qc? actually i noticed that about most of the crown tundra ost. the town music is just a simple melody on one instrument looped, and the calyrex music is fucking terrible. masuda is better than this. poor guy was probably rushed to get it out as fast as possible. music is just something you can't rush.

So retarded for the gym leader fights, if anything having a fight come down to the wire is exactly where the triumphant last Pokemon music would be at its best.
They completely ruined it with the airy instruments that blend together. You can barely make out the original melody which was the most clear and characteristic feature of the original song. The only clear thing here is the obnoxious percussion which has too much going on.
