What if Hyperbeam didn't have to recharge if it KOs a pokemon?

Should have never changed this mechanic, gives moves like that a reason to be used.

What if Normal type resisted dark?

They are good moves especially zap cannon, a 120 BP move with a guaranteed paralysis would be broken without the coin flip. Why use any other electric move besides it and volt switch.

A flying or levitating Pokemon using Roost activates ground-based hazards. If a poison-type roosts, it absorbs Toxic Spikes.

Just give it it's Defense-halving back.
