AG being aura is a bullshit excuse made by Tomiyasu to justify his shitty powerup. Ash-Greninja is a Pokémon with an ability called Battle Bond, i.e. NOT Aura. It's something that also exists in the manga, as one of the characters has a Greninja with the exact same ability.

That's not what I mean. I mean the whole trying to have a special legendary power and bond that synchronized with Ash when ura came in and did that in AG and DP with Lucario and Riolu WAY beforehand and the bond that matched Ash's fiery spirit that he had to master with the Pokemn also matches Blaze Infernape.
Ash-Greninja was always Blaze Infernape and Lucario/Aura fused into one thing. It was even mocked when it first got reveald in promotional stuff, but ended up succeeding and becoming popular because in actual execution, it looked cool even if it didn't make much sense.
