Gold after 7th badge, doing Dex clean up and trying to get the legendary dogs.
I think I might replace Umbreon, it was a pain in the ass to raise but it's turned out pretty underwhelming. I wanted to do Scizor but turns out it's not available until halfway through Kanto anyway, so I might just settle for a comfy Parasect or Vileplume.

You can actually get Scizor pretty early. Just use thief on wild Magnemites until you get a metal coat.
