I'm of the opinion that starters, especially grass/fire/water ones, are a tired concept at this point, and it's boring when everyone uses the same mons, so I just don't use them.
Also indifferent to this set of starters anyway, they're better than last gen and I can see some potential for good evolutions, but I doubt they'll get them.

The design is cute but it is a little dull to me. I think a proper leaf mask instead of just a pattern on its face would be very nice.

I don't nickname when the game is new. It fucks up my ability to remember the actual names.
I still call Greninja Bigsby for that reason.

I'm gonna take Sprigatito and probably soft reset for a female and name her Ella after my actual cat.
