I came to biz 2018, left to exclusively focus on good grades, lifting, boxing/judo, learning piano, reading literature, improving social skills.
Yes I am fit, have some skills, got laid a lot. But also I now have to slave 9 hours a day, 5 days a week, 1 weekend day to recover/prepare. And my other attributes are going downhill because I just don’t have time for them, and too tired after work to perform at my best. Life is suffering.
If I’d stayed on biz 2018-2020 I would have worked extra jobs, kept stacking, worked out a minimal amount, and made it by now with 10 hours a day to do what I want instead of 1 hour, and the luxury of raising a family with good resources.
Although I agree it’s true now because it’s different and things won’t recover for 10-20 years, one of my biggest regrets is focusing on “life” instead of spending more time on biz.

What WFH job? I fell for the healthcare meme and would take a pay cut if it meant doing something where I didn’t have to be face to face with boomers 7 hours a day and with regular hours instead of expected unpaid overtime.

Is it still worth the “learning to code” meme? I see so many women doing courses these days it makes it seem over-saturated. I would try to learn something in data though, or ideally remote sensing as I have a semi-relevant degree from years ago but idk how that looks if I then studied something else after anyway.

I have spent years struggling and injuring myself to try and elicit a physiological change in the gym
in 2020 I began 5x5 and ran it for six months until linear progression stalled out, for a year after I did 5/3/1 BBB and finally just a PPL
I now go to the gym every fucking weekday, I added 85 lbs. to my squat, 100 to my deadlift, 30 to my bench, my OHP set has been well over a plate now, on top of conditioning and assistance work

Covid shut all the gyms down and I lost a lot of my gains because of it. Bodyweight exercises just wasn't enoug and wall the free weights were sold out. Back at it though now.

I've been able to successfully control diet to go from 240 lbs to 180 lbs, bulk to 210, then cut to 190. It made fuck all of a difference.

Also too much leg work, your bench and press haven’t improved by comparison.
Seriously don’t waste your energy and recovery abilities on squat and DL unless you compete or athletics. Same for doing too much conditioning. Try a bro split, or keep doing push-pull but do them properly.
If you don’t like how you look then do a proper cut to understand 10% that’s when you might start to like what you look like. Minimal/compound based routines like you did are ok when cutting for that.
