Funniest thing of all is that liberals think this is some unequivocal good, especially for Africans, the group they care about most. As an African expat myself, I wouldn't want to go back because of how unstable, corrupt, and divisive the entire continent is. We can't seem to shake off our tribal mentalities and agree to work under unified governments, and while I get that it takes people like me to fix that problem, I would most likely end up as a statistic before being able to do anything resembling a meaningful change. Locals also dont like Westernized white-talking blacks like me and would stone me over it.
