Whatever you do buy at least $100 of what are commonly referred to as ISO 20022 coins. Technically any L1 could be ISO compliant but these are INATBA member coins/affiliate coins. They are by far the safest bets as outcomes as well as safest in face of imminent regulatory interference as well as have the highest hypothetical upside with the lower bound even if you disagree with the diehards being acceptable vs. any other class and outpacing inflation/the markets by far as long as you hold no matter what for a couple years. These coins are:
XRP (not XPR) - my personal top recommendation
XLM
IOTA (longterm)
ALGO

Crypto will almost definitely tank massively before the true market emerges but I would buy at least 100 XRP (literally $30, you doing so will move my price less than a thousandth of a cent) right now and hold it no matter what, but save the majority of what you have to buy the bottom.
