The absolute state of idiots who "wants to start farming to become self sufficient"
You have zero idea how to farm or even how nutrition really works
It tastes so bitter because it has fucking antinutrients. Green salat gives nothing to human nutrition. The fact that you planted them in not optimal conditions and that you did not use fungicides made the plant suffer problems to which it responds with more antinutrients thats why it is so bitter.
And no the rabbits wont taste bitter, thats a good idea. Because green leaves are actual food for rabbits and they will detoxify them after eating and nothing will be bitter
For real part substainability you need a huge huge garden and grow potatoes, wheat and beans and them have chickens and pigs
Everything other is a joke

1. lettuce is a surprisingly good source of vitamin k
2. fungicides and pesticides increases the stress of the plant

feeding them to rabbits is a good idea though

beans are an absolute meme on the same retard level as sardines

i just wanted to try gardening for fun, i'm not a schizo doomsday goldbug
fuck off

Beans for pigs and maybe for the chicken not mainly for humans
Its just to grow protein, or you would need grass and a cow
>fungicides and pesticides increases the stress of the plant
TOPKEK
No why do you think they are used on the first place?
Its not called plant protect agent without reason! These things are used to protect the plant from insects and toxic mushrooms
WHy do you think these things are used? Just to make more stress to the plants????????
Like just to be a villains?
No the reduce any problems for the plant

>i just wanted to try gardening for fun, i'm not a schizo doomsday goldbug
>fuck off
Well ok then try to protect the plants from potential harmful things and try to increase the nutrients of the soil by getting cow dung from a farmer and you will be good

I made this pepe snail
And you abused it with this post
Don't let the lettuce grow too long, don't let it get too much sun & heat, read a book

What else are you growing, just lettuce? This year I did entirely peas for my garden. Soil is still a work in progress, but with all the rain this year, they've gotten pretty big.

Bbq sauce. Maybe a vinegar based marinade.

only lettuce for now but i don't think gardening is for me

That's not an acceptable excuse, everyone can and should learn to garden, especially men, given it's the closest things we have to creating & nurturing life. Just watch some youtube videos and stick with easy plants like beans, peas, potatoes, etc.

you probably have covid. get a test

Give it another go. You'll only get better.
I recommend a Mandarin tree. I love my Mandarin tree.

Sounds like you need to get better at growing lettuce

You don't get any substantial amount of micronutrients from any plants. Plants are medicines, not food.

also
>vitamin K is soluble in fat
Do you see much fat in lettuce? Don't be dumb and just eat your organ meats, especially liver and you'll have all the micronutrients you need.
