Surgery for hernia when I was a young child, never got rehab'd and the muscle didn't repair itself properly, everything around it is atrophied and the leg doesn't function properly. I can stand and walk and be a regular human being for now because my other leg is taking the brunt of my bodyweight but as I get older I'm expected to need a walking stick/end up in a wheelchair. I just cope with anime and porn games to simulate relationships now, don't want to involve a woman in this doomed life and no one will want me anyway.

Right hip, was in bed for a week, then I got up with support and had to wear a dress (I also lost my foreskin as well, woke up and dick was bloody which scared 5yo me shitless). I think if you had something similar but all the muscles are repaired properly you could possibly do rehab at home or find a physio. I was able to regain some strength in my right arm and shoulder when sitting. Apparently hip problems cause problems both up and down so my entire right side is dysfunctional but arms are not as important as legs. The key is that you can underestimate just how weak you are, I had to use 0.5kg dumbbells to properly activate my shoulder muscles when I started without shrugging my entire body up
