Just did my first yellow speedrun recently. Ended in 3ish hours with nidoking, snorlax, lapras, pikachu, Paras and spearow. Also had a mankey i planned on evolving and using for the full run but that dream died real quick

this is a sort of ideal balanced kanto team i made with a lot of favorites, but i have an active FRLG playthrough with a different team.
my current kanto team is this:

i think this team would be really balanced and good if i replaced hitmonlee for exeggutor but i dont feel like it
