Just snagged a shiny Darkrai in bdsp after 2 resets, I wasn't even hunting him I just killed him on accident the first two times
havent had a shiny hunt since i finished pic related back in december.
thats is if you don't count PLA, which is piss easy to shiny hunt that i does not count it.
was gonna do the sword dlcs but once i found out that all the wild mons there now spawn at 60, and if i want a low lvl team to do the dlc i have to breed for it

Randomly got a Hatterene a few days ago while going for a Lunala (it was Modest nature as well) and a Morpeko a few days before that. My last successful shiny hunt was Regigigas a few months ago after 500+ encounters

Back in Gen 2 shinies were automatically generated and not designed, then from Gen 6 onwards their colouring was deliberate.
Obviously Neon Green is not a very popular choice so they made a conscious decision to right the wrongs of it's evolution line.

If you're hunting for shinies in MMOs on PLA, some nerds found out a way to guarantee a shiny from any outbreak.
Requires some set up, gotta install some shit but it works. Also works on regular outbreaks. I've done it a few times now, gotten shiny alpha Growlithe, shiny Torterra and shiny Sneasler so far with it.

There is little to no reason to actually go though all that fucking work in PLA. Shinies are practically thrown at you. I have 3 boxes full of shinies, out of those 90ish mons only 3 of them I actively hunted, with Rotom being the only one that took a few days to pop.
