I always felt like Houndour downgraded when it evolved, i get the Hellhound thing, but i think Houndour has just the right ratio of Edgy and Cute. Yamper honestly gets bonus points for Fetch, it is niche and silly, but back when you only had a few of a rare ball (like the Beast Ball pre-tundra) it was surprisingly handy.

I think Arcanine has pretty big size variation over the franchise IIRC, i think the Anime has it on the smaller side pretty often when it is appearing in the side or doing side roles (As the Anime tends to play loose with a lot of mon sizes), but officially the size is like 6.3 feet or ~2 Meters tall i think, so larger then most humans. That we just had PLA also probably means the Noble Arceus further leaves a impression that Arcanine is fucking huge since im pretty sure that Nobles are even larger then Alphas (who are oversized even to normal standards).
