>Pokemon is a literal brain virus

Can Pokémon cause an autism spectrum on people?

half
I'm lonely
pokemon IS autism

More and more recently. I like to imagine how my day would be with pokémon and which ones I would have. Like yesterday I was thinking I probably wouldn't be able to evolve my Growlithe because evolution stones would probably be pretty expensive irl, so I'd catch a Ponyta and evolve to Rapidash to go to work instead. I'd have a Machoke to help at work, a Bulbasaur, a Pidgeot and maybe a Charjabug to keep things charged.

based kinnoh living in unovabort minds rent free

my life became worse after becoming a pokemon fan in 2015

So basically my brain is permanently damaged by the thoughts of chilling with fictional animals? Not the worst mental disorder to be fair

Can confirm. I have Kanto memorized in my head. Also, probably a lifetime addiction to Pokeporn.

>world near economic collapse
>”scientists” research the part of the brains who think about pokemon

Not that I'd expect any of you drooling retards to actually read more than a headline for once in your lives, but this actually seems pretty clever:
>want to study how the brain categorizes things
>need something very strong so it shows up clearly
>but not specific to a single culture or generation to minimize confounding variables
>Pokemon, then
>turns out they're processed in the "animal" part of the visual cortex
>and even better, this link is predictive both ways: more brain activation means they were a Pokemon fan, and bring a Pokemon fan means more brain activation
>AND this location in the brain is the same across individuals
So familiar RBY sprites are recognized as "animals" in the brain, rather than rocks or some other category.
The Pokemon craze in the 90s resulted in a naturally-occurring control/experimental group, which is always great to find.

where do Super Mario enemies go

I spend all day thinking about having sex with Pokemon.

This user has an exquisite pokebrain

I feel bad for modern children. Real animals are dying by the billions and what do we get as a replacement? Corporate mascots that you can buy. The Pokémon "craze" was a mistake. We've raised generations of consumer drones that act like cartoon animals are their culture. Totally normal world we live in.

I'm dying to know how old you think people born in the late 80s/early 90s are today. I do somewhat agree with you that massive corporations have an outsized effect on people's lives, though.

Oak would never say this
I'm crying right now

Not at all, ha ha.
