Pokémon fans aren’t good at playing games.

For me it was the horrible combat system, I would have preferred an old school system like SF, KOF or something like the MvsC series

Type Wild was more fun and was created by a fan

Pokemon fans are not interested in real time games

trapped on wii u for years

For Casuals:
Both Systems have smash bros which is a lot more approachable than Pokken.

For Competitive: A number of issues that didn't really get ironed out like Spamming legendaries with Braixen or looping with Shadow Mewtwo, along with possibly the worst showcase where the Japanese playerbase were able to flex their extra year of experience by zoning out others, resulting in a pretty boring finals with Zoner vs Zoner.

crap roster
crap camera
simple as

>NEW SWITCH GAME
>it's a wii u game
>b-but new characters...
>$80 for 7 characters

>also story mode still sucks

No Gallade

No one likes Gallade. He only exists to give Gardevoir a canon bf.

I know they specifically wanted a diverse range of Pokemon/body types, but I think a "Fighting" centric roster and 2D combat might have made the game more appealing.

holy fuck that's loud

I skipped it in part because there were too many fighting types

I didn't ask for cliche, I wanted fascination

>wii u
>2d and 3d instead of one or the other
>no hawlucha despite it being popular at the time
>two pikachus on a small roster
>no advertising
>story mode was shit and literally tacked on at the last minute
>hellish development behind the scenes
>dlc was never completed

>hellish development behind the scenes
Really? What's the story?

>fighting games
The most boring shit

Fighting games fell off years ago also the system was boring as fuck and not fun in the slightest, people will lie and say otherwise but there were characters that were blatantly unfair due to their overtuned shield breaking counter attack breaking safe on block bullshit attacks that do a fuck ton of damage and the duel phase mechanic felt so stiff partly because of that and the other reason being it was just slow.

>Tekken but shit
Whoa...

The main problem with Pokken was that Tekken is fucking ass.

Spam projectile suicune and chandelure to win was brutal
