Gen2 radiates SOUL of which has been unrivaled ever since. I pity zoom zooms for not experiencing pokemon at its peak. Gen 5+ fans need not apply.
Day/night sucks. Looks nice but having to play at certain times for some pokemon is as bad as honey trees and feebas tiles.

gen1 was the first, everything about it was completely original and unexpected, it was an incredible adventure for people around the world to experience when pokemon first came out. you had to be there to understand, johtozoomer. gen2 came out after pokemania ended and it was just a bland rehash of what we already experienced in Kanto
