Why did you start doing romhacks?

make me

Hypothetically, let's assume I'm retarded. Just a hypothetical, of course. What is the best way to prep a MIDI track for the noise channel that can be processed with TriteHexagon's MIDI2ASM? I have gotten a decent gist of music hacking now, but fuck if I have no idea how to make drums patterns work. I don't know whether to make track 4 into a rhythm track in AnvilStudio or what. Thanks, frens.

Post comfy

Huh?

I fucked up.

Should the IV mechanic be kept or rid?

You remember the Battle Arena? How would you score matches if scoring became a general feature for all battles?

How lame would a Pokemon game in the mainline vein be that didn't allow you to battle? Like, you could only do alternative stuff like Contests, Pokeathlon, etc.

Girls don't really care about battling, so what game modes could be implemented into Pokemon as an alternative to capture their interest while still staying true to the spirit of the series?

Sup niggas, do u know if there's a romhack of the gameboy tcg game featuring neo or gym sets?

>ROMhack dev includes himself as an endgame superboss with 6 fully evolved competitive Pokemon including shinies
>He also has edgy dialogue

Has there been a romhack that puts a Gen 1 game into another game's engine?

FireRed?

>ROMhack dev includes his friends as minor NPCs with subtle inside jokes
>Doesn't include himself at all

What about a romhack that remakes gen 5+ games in gen 3 engine?

Red++

Thoughts on replacing Toxic and Thunder Wave's TMs?

What is it with romhacks and puddles?

How is it 2022 and clover is still the best romhack?

because devs are still working on 1.4

modders and fans in general are obsessed with reflections

so far this is the only area in my game with reflective puddles. It's a muddy rainy village at the base of a mountain

>Points based on number of crits
>Points based on super effective hits
>Points based on number of damage done over all
>Points based on how many pokemon an individual pokemon KOs (gotta sweep with one or some shit),
>Points based on flair (basing it on moves with lower PP would be good as they tend to be flashy)
>Points based on the average number of enemy pokemon it takes to KO one of your pokemon (sturdy bitches getting lots)
>Points based on number of status effects inflicted

Those are just a few that come to mind.

>Girls and Pokemon
Have the Pokemon offer quests. Make them talk and need the player's help

>Should the IV mechanic be kept or rid?
Keep it for the main campaign, remove it for everything else.
