Last one died, so I thought I'd start another one. As I said a couple of weeks ago, I've decided to play through at least 1 game from each gen (2 or more depending on remakes) from now until Scarlet and Violet release in November.
I just beat Red a couple of hours ago, this was the team I used. I hoped to be done earlier, but I ended up having to grind for the last battle and went overboard.

You're right, the correct way to play a Pokémon game is to have the following team:
- Cinderace
- Charizard
- Garchomp
- Legendary (preferably something that is peak tryhard like Zacian)
- Pikachu
- Filler (preferably a Pokémon that Game Freak approves of)
Only faggots use Pokémon they like.
I’m playing through (Following) Platinum, just finished up Eterna City. Aside from Porygon and maybe Glaceon I’m not sure who I want to use/replace. Other mons I’m considering are Houndoom, Drapion, and the event Entei.
Did I fuck myself? I PKHeX’d myself the event items but I can’t access to Rotom room. Do I need to insert a mystery gift card or something?

I just find them boring, unless it's a region without particularly good or interesting water/grass/fire types. Especially in these type of threads where someone could have 6 really interesting pokemon instead of 5 interesting pokemon and their starter.
