Figured i'd give you people a short storytime of a duckstory which parodies Pokemon.
It's two relatively short stories.

I don't like the framing of the bullies stealing them, it had zero buildup. They should've established that they have rare cards before entering school(that the bullies wanted) and found out they were stolen after.

Also, an another dimension plot is very different to the comics I used to read as a kid(which were argentinian reprints, but not sure what era those were from because they didn't even list the writers/artists).

You gotta remember, in duck comics there's usually a limit for how many pages the story should have, so very often things are simplified for brevity

No, when I was a kid they reprinted older stories(before pokemania/pokemon), but I don't know what era those reprints were from.
But I meant that those were more grounded instead of having a portal to another dimension as part of the plot.

Yeah, seeing how the first story ended with Dooley considering releasing them again, i guess the creators were planning to make a sequel
Considering what happens on this page though, i doubt this is the plot they originally planned
