You should probably rewatch the series now that you're old enough all the blatant hinting doesn't go over your head. It's all done in that "not technically stated but made so obvious any older viewer is supposed to get it" way, down to the extremely deliberate character design choice for Zoey to make the two of them resemble the Lovely Angels.

I've watched DP plenty of times, I did so recently, and there's nothing that suggests any of the sort, and it was the original not the dub, probably you're just a damaged yurishitter that's sees lesbians everywhere
Anyone find it weird how fast Dawn had pokemon in DP (she had 4 pokemon already only a little over 30 eps in), as if she was going to get a ton of Pokemon at first? Then her captures slow to a crawl and Ambipom is released and she only captures two more pokemon. Then Togekiss is last minute addition only 2 eps before her Grand Festival.
They really paced Dawn's captures oddly, especially with DP being 191 episodes. Piplup, Buneary and Pachirisu remained the same for like 180 episodes.

You know, as much of a meme at it is, I do unironically want Alain and Tobias to come back for the lower Masters 8. We've already got Paul back and it's fills in the lower half of the match up before we get to the big times. More importantly though it'll provide some much needed closure for the series, tying up loose ends. With that masters 8 becomes -Leon -Cynthia -Lance -Steven stone maybe? -Alain -Tobias -Paul -Ash 4 champs, 4 challengers. A great line up.
Uh, most likely screaming and crying? In Serena's case likely would accept it if Ash was doing it. You wouldn't do something like that to Bonnie, Lillie, or Lana right?
While I like the current art style, it is funny how everyone looks about 2-3 years younger. If you look at the bottom pic they actually look like 10 year olds, but XY made them look 13-14. I suppose in a way the change of animation makes sense for the target audience since the cast aren't supposed to be teens.
