I want to buy a f80 m3, but I don’t want to pay this inflated bullshit used car prices. How long am I gonna have to wait for this shit to normalize? Should I just buy it tonight and say fuck it?

They're falling right now. Low liquidity niches in a market always lag behind. Commodity vehicles have been steadily dropping as poorfags have gotten priced out by cost of living spikes. The premium segment is just a month or two behind. However I don't think the market for more classic cars will be falling until boomers start dying in mass.
