Formerly 'eth2'

>formerly 'eth2'
eth2 was so hopeless that they don't even want to use that name again huh?

they have to move the goalposts as always, imagine still believing in their vision

>formerly 'eth2'
luna scammers poisoned the well

Who cares?
Avalanche can already do everything better than ETH2 could ever hope to achieve

>can already do everything better
>can't be mined
pick one

just Stake and run your own Validator.
And the best thing is you dont have to just Validate Avalanche and the C-Chain you can Validate other Subnets too and get paid in their tokens.
Way more potential to earn here.

It makes sense though, since it will be the Ethereum.

You are throwing away all the old code and now the name as well.

good honestly, having a split between eth and eth2 would've been a disaster, there should just be eth

I think calling it eth2 would raise the chances of eth being considered a security after the upgrade because it's not the same chain and eth2 coins could be seen as a brand new investment contract that was paid for with eth for the promise of profits in the future once eth2 launches. Getting rid of the name is probably just a maneuver to obscure that change and reduce regulatory risk.

This

So why didn't DYDX go to AVAX?

Many projects are lead by retards, they will learn their mistake the hard way.

Why would anyone stake (for the security of the chain) when they can make 100x it staking on a defi protocol or DEX? Seems like a competition for a service/good that'll lead to mutual destruction.

So one of the biggest, oldest, most successful protocols in crypto, who did a lot of research into what was best for their product, chose Cosmos over AVAX because they're "retards"...

yep and they will learn eventually.

The answer is everyone will use liquid staking derivatives (stETH) so they can earn yield while maintaining liquidity. This will centralize the network though because people won't want to run nodes that remove their liquidity and also has worst returns due to not being able to as effectively capture MEV as the big boys.

most of eths marketcap is swaps and animalcoin scams designed to alleviate the gas fees. they can't change without collapsing

Have you ever even used that trash chain?
To give you a some example top off my head. A few months ago during the peak node hype mania. There was a hyped launch on AVAX (similar launches happened on eth bsc without much trouble mind you). Name was magic potion something.
So what happened? The chain shat the bed. Simple token swap txns were taking 15+mins to execute with a much higher gas fee. You actually had to pay like 10-20x of normal gas fee for a single txn if you wanted it to happen under 5mins.
This included ALL the txns. The ones that weren't even related to the launch.
Avax is dogshit tech that hasn't been stress tested enough and shits the bed anytime something hyped launched on it. (You literally can't name a single hyped project that launched on avax and whose launch was smooth.
Do you faggots not test the actual tech of the bags you marry? What the fuck.

They changed it because it was a dumb name. People willing to make changes to a project even though it will result in lots of i-dont-like-new-thing morons crying out is usually a good sign.

>Why would anyone stake (for the security of the chain)
on Avalanche you do it because its the most riskfree way to make an APY (there is no slashing or liquidation risk or smart contract risk etc.) and additional to that you can also validate other subnets and get paid in other tokens, increasing your APY, you also get a % cut from your delegators rewards.

When do you guys think ETH will be relatively feature-complete (I’m guessing that means the merge + sharding). Is 2025 too optimistic?

>Have you ever even used that trash chain?
I'm using it everyday
>Simple token swap txns were taking 15+mins to execute
never happened, why are you making shit up?
>You actually had to pay like 10-20x of normal gas fee for a single txn if you wanted it to happen under 5mins.
thats not how the fee market or the Consensus works on Avalanche.
why do you keep lying?
>You literally can't name a single hyped project that launched on avax and whose launch was smooth.
literally all of them. no launch on Avalanche ever had any Issues.

also its super cheap again since the high load gaming shit branched off into their own Subnets.
Subnets work.
>that hasn't been stress tested
C-Chain worked perfectly fine throughout all the dumps and high volatility events and through the pumps too, never had an issue adjusting my loans.

now cope more nigger. maybe try to come up with more believable lies next time.

who gives a shit?
what do you really need ethereum for when Avalanche is doing everything ETH can but better?
literally all you have to do to make it is swap your ETH bags for AVAX, it has a lower Marketcap, more potential and the tech already works TODAY.
