Based shining enjoyer.
here's a surprisingly nice card I received as part of an ebay lot today
on the other hand, just got burned on a tcgp direct order of "near mint" cards. apparently they updated their condition guidelines a week and a half ago, greatly reducing the threshold for NM and LP: mktg-assets.tcgplayer.com
probably not going to buy there anymore - certainly not from the "direct" stock - until they add a higher "mint" category for cards that are actually clean
Oh fuck, that's a huge difference from their stated standards previously. They even changed the card condition guide on their site. That being said, this is what you should have expected if you ordered NM from them before. This is likely more for the seller's protection since they can now prevent most of the refunds that were happening.
Their old standard said NM needed to be free from flaws. Now they can have up to 3? That's fucked.
Friendly reminder that grading is a scam and if you spend your hard earned money on it, you're a retard
Rawchad or nothing.
fuck thats actually pretty cool.
I just bought real art to hang on the wall instead of a piece of cardboard wrapped in plastic.
yet i still desire imaginary monster art more.
just get some canvas art of mons or something
that horizontal+cosmos combo is sick
My staryu came in the mail today, paid a pretty decent price for a card that looks this nice. The centering is kinda bad, but the rest is good. The grade matches the #77
You gonna release it from its prison?
This only on the japanese versions of this card?
Nice but hopefully you didn't pay a lot just because its graded
I don't have anywhere else to put it right now
Not nearly as much as some people try to sell these for
Reverse holo rares, now that's my shit
Nice crab.
Finally got around to checking my old collection for error cards. These are all the major ones I found. I have some of the other ones that were never corrected but those don't really count I'd say.
Wow, missing the 1st Ed stamp! Super rare.
Also while I was researching I found this.
Apparently Blaine's Charmander is the only Charmander in TCG that was drawn with a spike on his back. So that's kind of cool.
nice set of cards, my favorite there is the diglett
