Honestly sick of the region being so prominent in everything in contemporary Pokémon. The footballer rabbit and James Bond lizard were two of the worst starters in any Pokémon game. It's nothing to do with their design competence since I loved the Gen VII starters as well as plenty of Gen VIII mons. But the starters and legendaries have become increasingly uninteresting as they've become more 'locked' to regional theming.
