Capitalism works to take people out of poverty and into some form of wealth storage but it eventually evolves into a monster that strips wealth away from the very people it initially helped.

The adage "socialism for the rich, capitalism for the poor" does apply but its an over simplification of what is really happening. Capitalism in the end resembles Communism but it has a facade of freemarket enterprise surrounding it which it browbeats the general public with ad nauseum.

Beign selfish is accounted for in the theory. I never followed this. What about the theory makes being selfish impossible? The implimentations of the 20th centruy were flawed mostly because of centralization and because technology had not yet been created that could sustain economic levels of planning seen in the USSR.
