Reminder that humans in Pokemon are their own different thing

Reminder that humans in Pokemon are their own different thing.

gameinformer.com/b/features/archive/2016/07/13/pok-233-mon-39-s-burning-questions.aspx

>In the same way humans in our world are a type of animal, are humans in the Pokémon world a form of Pokémon?

>Masuda: Humans are definitely separate from Pokémon. The way you think about it is different than how we think about animals in relation to humans on Earth. For example, on Earth we have mammals and reptiles all these different categories. In the world of Pokémon, they are all Pokémon. We don’t really categorize them in exactly that way. It’s kind of a different way of looking at it. So yeah, humans are definitely separate from Pokémon. For example, humans can’t learn four different moves like a Pokémon can.

On top of that as Arceus shows all Pokemon can shrink as a defense mechanism while humans can't. As it stands humanity in Pokemon stands to be a separate entity from the natural world.

>We don’t really categorize them in exactly that way.
>Snake Pokemon
>Cat Pokemon
>Wild Bull Pokemon
Fuck off Masuda.

If you think I'm going to take an ounce of what Masuda says seriously after the retarded shrinking shit, then you're out of your mind.

>We don’t really categorize them in exactly that way.

What the fuck is this shit they categorize pokemon all the god damn time.

>The mouse pokemon
>The Lizard Pokemon
>The Seed Pokemon
>The Tiny Turtle Pokemon

>In the world of Animals, they are all Animals.
Also shrinking is beyond retarded, especially when it makes zero fucking sense, only Pokemon with Minimize should be allowed to shrink.

Masuda needs to be fired ASAP and blacklisted from the games industry.

>ut, in terms of what’s inside of the Pokéball, it’s a space that’s incredibly comfortable for Pokémon. So comfortable, that they want to enter the Pokéball without any sort of outside encouragement.
THE POKEMON HAS BROKE FREE!
>that the Pokémon Ditto was a failed attempt at cloning a Mew./That’s the first time I have ever hear that rumor actually.
Bullshit it is.
>We actually don’t think of the world of Pokémon as Earth. If we were to do that, we would kind of be limited by what we could do
And yet you continue to make regions based off the real world and have thousands of possibilities that will easily exceed your lifetime by the time you get to them all.
>Long ago, there may have been wars.
Lt. Surge was literally in a war probably less than 20 years ago.

Coupled with his dumbass comments in OP's post, he is beyond hope for the series at this point when everything he says is contradictory to what he helps make.

The shrinking thing goes all the way back to Tajiri tho.

It was retarded then too. That's why it was never mentioned again until now, where it's still retarded. I deny it as canon.

Why do they need Pokeballs if they can just shrink and hang out in your "pockets" then? Pokeballs are literally useless if they can shrink.

Because it's a defence mechanism, most Pokémon can't shrink at will. The professor in Arceus mentions that pokeballs exploit that ability in Pokémon.

If it's a defense mechanism then it activates automatically when they're defending themselves, which means every single battle should involve them shrinking themselves, also see , if they wanted to be caught, they'd do so without a single battle, which means they're defending themselves.

This interview is stupid, shrinking is stupid, and they have no consistency within their own series or quality control whatsoever.

the professor in arceus is retarded. he wears a stupid hat and does nothing while his child laborers do all the work. He spent hours coming up with the idea of turning food into balls, that's his greatest achievement in life. If anything, his saying that is proof that pokemon don't shrink. He probably lost them in the grass like the retard he is and assumed they "MUST'VE SHRUNK!" like the drooling manchild he is.

Do people eat Pokémon?
>There is a variety of snacks in the pokemon world.
Yeah but do people eat pokemon?
>There are lot's of fruits and vegetables to eat
Okay, but pokemon?
>Maybe they have food we don't even know about because technology
DO THEY EAT POKEMON?! YES OR NO
>They have rare candies but I wouldn't eat those, you might hurt your stomach

Get fucked Masuda

>All humans are vegetarians in the PokeWorld
>Slowpoke Tails are a delicacy
Slowpokes are confirmed Vegetables now

>Farfetch’d makes a delicious meal, especially when cooked with leek. Because of this, Farfetch’d is nearly extinct.”
So they really have forgotten Farfetch'd exists.

They also have 4 moves the defend themselves so it makes complete sense as to why they dont immediately shrink upon getting into battle also Pokemon get aggressive with YOU when you encounter them so they dont shrink.

>if they wanted to be caught, they'd do so without a single battle
Then the trainer doesn’t prove himself/herself worthy

They hide in tall grass out of fear of humans because of past hunting. Also if Minimize/Shrinking is a move, and not every Pokemon knows it, then not every Pokemon can shrink. If they can only have so many moves at a time, then not all of them can Shrink, and only ones that know Minimize can. Even then, as I said, if they wanted to be caught, why are they even being aggressive in the first place, why do they bother breaking out of Pokeballs?

Worthy of what, training a Pokemon? They seem pretty content at being dropped off at a daycare by some random old people and getting stronger, they seem content at being fed Rare Candies and 'cheating' their way to getting stronger, they seem content at sitting in a box for eternity.

>Taking Masuda's word on lore
Masuda is a music producer, not a lore man. That's like asking Miyamoto the Zelda timeline

Aonuma is wrong on the timeline too, he has child as being the natural progression (Downfall makes the most sense), and even then Adult makes more sense then Child since it only exists due to a branch made by Zelda forcibly from an already existing timeline.

Nintendo doesn't care about lore is easier to say.

Fujibayashi is a lore man and he's in charge now. Aonuma just likes to suck off his own work so he tries to inflate Child Timeline (TP) and sideline earlier work (DT/ALttP). Lore people are not always the face of the franchise, but they do include tidbits to make them all make sense. I did wish Koizumi was not shafted to Mario though

Even then, it needs to be corrected and hasn't yet. Plus BotW has tons of inconsistent lore with the series. Zelda has always been inconsistent and it always will be, same as Pokemon, Mario, etc. Metroid is somehow the most consistent lore there is and Other M exists and the constant back and forth over Space Pirate intelligence and so on.

>They hide out fear
This doesnt mean theyre always on defense you get aggressive out fear.
>Well if they shrink why dont they all know minimize!
People need to stop saying this like its an argument when their mons with wings but cant fly and also Majority of Pokemon eat food but dont learn the move swallow and obviously have mouths.
>Then why do they break out of balls?
Its a fucking game mechanic.

There was a brief window from OOT to TWW where it was pretty consistent, but TP fucked everything up and it all went downhill from there.

They hope to be used in battles. Being sidelined makes them unhappy.
