You serious? Venusaur has been OU without its mega for a whole one gen. With it's mega it gets brought up to two. It's viability is largely based on weather, which is why its one time in OU is during the literal weather wars period.

Was average for the first four gens. Shined during gen 5 due to weather wars. Got a renewed light due to mega evolutions for gen 6. Was back to average for gen 7 and isn't even that great in gen 8 ou or nat dex because both are dominated by rain.
