I’m about to start the final location, Albaster Icelands.
I can evolve Quilava, Porygon2, Scyther and Ursaring right now but I don’t like to evolve my mons all together at the same time and prefer using them until a certain point before evolving them. With that being said, I’m not sure how long is left in the game before I beat it and if there’s even a worthy postgame to delay some of them from evolving this late.

Currently doing a mix of pre-Volo legendary quests, catching one of each of the 6 or so Pokemon I missed, and filling out dex entries to level 10. Also have a few odd quests to do still. Realized there's like 10 I never received and I don't know how to trigger them.
Trying to space out the dex entries between pre-volo, post-volo, and post-arceus so that I'm not ever left with just powering 100 or so Pokemon through to rank 10 as the only thing left to do. Gone from 100 rank 10s to 160 or so in a day. So I'm hoping I'll have the game finished by Sunday so I can have my life back and stop pulling obsessive 3AM nights.
I'm holding out hope I might be able to get Spiritomb without a guide. But I'm 100% just gonna look up the Unowns, I'm happy I've found literally ANY of those fuckers without a guide. They're impossible.

You can open up the pokedex and click the Y button to get clues to find the Unowns. They're all easy to find once you read the clues, and even without them I found like half of them.

I thought Gamefreak was actually insane and expecting anyone to find the whole Alphabet off zero telegraphs in the world design. That makes it a bit better.

still on the coastlands, been putting the story in the back and just chilling out. my party is lower leveled (minus steelix) so running around the land training with them has been a great experience. ran into a few shinies along the way as well. desu i don't want to evolve rhydon and base scyther looks too pretty and i prefer the design and flying stab. haunter is my bro so i also won't be evolving him.

Spiritomb is easy at night, hop on Braviary and circle the map, they spawn in really far away and are often the only visible things in the distance, they even shine through the flash bang you get by going slightly too close to OOB
Also, fully finished the game, just shiny hunting/perfecting the dex, damn that was fun, the post game difficulty spike was great except for Arceus, that fucker never lets up his attacks

Yeah, I'm pretty close, I'm done with the Fieldlands, have 1 left on both the like swamp zone and the coast zone. And have somewhere around 5 and 10 left on the other two.
DESU I would have tried way harder if I hadn't known there's a Spiritomb soul locked behind the finale of the story. The fact that you can't get him TIL endgame was just too lame
