Are we in a recession?
Are we in a recession?
we're in what id call a short bull market so what that means is that the trends that used to support bullish momentum have ended but there are special undercurrents carrying some select bullish moves that are hard to predict.
dont get too caught up in what to call it - the market is what you make of it
We've been in a recession since 2015.
Them printing money doesn't change reality.
i saw a chart the other day that showed we never recovered from 2008 with all their fuckery
I have been in business since 2001. And worked for my father my entire life in his business. So I've seen it all since about 1995 when I was old enough to understand.
Business was good unironically until the very day Barrack Obama took office.
All "growth" has been fake since then. MAYBE we have actually grown 3-5% in the last 15 years, but I'd doubt it.
Trump's economy was entirely about money printing and expectation.
A recession is a fall in GDP in two successive quarters. That simple.
>b-but they can manipulate the GDP!
That will only delay the recession, not erase it.
*shecession you fukin bigot
You are playing their game.
A recession is a decline in REAL things in the REAL world.
Them changing a number does not make it not a recession.
You are ceding basically everything to them when you allow them to do this or play along.
Nigger it's a depression. We finna boutta get fucking ass raped, white boy. Talking raw penetration, nigger cock -style.
But at least they bailed out the American airlines companies that charge $500 to fly domestic.
>A recession is a decline in REAL things in the REAL world.
And what's real? Is USD real? Are tech stock prices real?
What I gave you is an official definition of a recession which was used for every single previous recession as well.
>Them changing a number does not make it not a recession.
As I said, you can't erase a recession with that, you can only slightly delay it by a quarter or two if there even is room to skew the numbers.
Let's go Brandon!
Kek how is that legal? As a europoor I can get on a plane to london for 20-30 euro right now.
I just payed 250€ for a 1.5hr flight to vienna
Since 1997. Housing has outstripped wages since then.
The lead up to 2008 was fake, since 2003 or before
Alright I exaggerated a little apparently. London (1h20min) is 100 euro for me.
I disagree. Real wages rose and things were astonishingly cheap under trump. Maybe because of the corporates tax cuts or maybe because of the restored confidence in America being a place you could invest in your business and make money. Either way, thats gone.
I dont care what people say, im convinced at this point having a republican in office is necessary for a bull market in risk on assets.
The only good thing I can say is there are jobs. 2008 felt worse but then I had no money and was trying to get the career started
What makes it so much worse than the depression is every American today lives on the grid. They do not grow their own food anymore. One real oversight from these globohomo “live in the pod” type fucking retards in charge that destroyed the American homestead is that now Americans are insanely underprepared for a food crisis. The bright side of all of this is that I really do think that the current regimes are going to be on their way out. People are going to get so desperate that things will have to change. I really would not want to be a policy maker right now.
I do have genuine worry about the credit debt. We might hit a credit crunch on the back of people trying to buy groceries lol.
yea peter shiff was talking about that a few years back. If you looked at all the metrics except gdp we were in a crisis. Savings were down, real net worths were down, underemployment was up, all assets were in fictitious bubbles.
Go back to your containment board, schizo.
Bullshit. Plane prices have skyrocketed
