Have outbreaks comoletely ruined the value of shinies? Or is it equalized bt shiny Alpha mons? What does Any Forums think?
Are shinies even worth anymore?
They were never worth anything as injecting has always existed
Already made valueless by Go. They haven’t really been rare since GSC
Shinies have been a joke since Gen 5 and Go made them even more of a joke.
The fuck is the value of a shiny?
Shinies haven't felt special for over a decade. They're mostly a badge of autism or cheating.
>outbreaks comoletely ruined the value of shinies?
No. If you're the type of person who thinks the value of them can be somehow "ruined", then it would be more like the over two year span where people said "hey add me then type this number into the game and get a guaranteed shiny from this raid".
Pokerus is the only good rare thing
Pokemon Go shiny rate is like 1/500
it been ruined
>value of shinies
How the hell they even had value if you always could inject/clone them in literally every game?
They may be valuable for person who hunts them, but overall - they never was valuable.
>anymore
How deranged and tasteless do you have to be to actually enjoy shiny hunting?
shinies have the same value as an nft
>they were never worth anything
Ask me how I know you faggots barely had one full odds shiny in your lifetime.
So what? Someone get full odds shiny, someone just injected exactly same shiny so it’s as legit at full odds one.
They indeed never was worth anything
I wish they were as easy as people say they are SHINY RALTS STILL WONT SHINE FOR ME
That doesn't make the4m valuable, it makes them a novelty.
For the same reason forging a fake rare ore irl will never be the same as a real rare one. People can inject all they want, they will NEVER get the feeling of a full odds. I remember my first shiny in silver 18 years ago, that's where the value is.
>Have outbreaks
How new are you to pokemon? Shinies haven't been special since gen 3/4 and GF has made it easier and easier over time. The worst is pokemon go, those faggots act like it's remarkable to catch one when that game literally gives them away all the time due to events and stupid shit
You don’t understand how blockchain works~
You cant sell feelings, there is no value
>fake rare ore irl
If that fake ore is as durable as rare ore and overall literary everything in fake ore is identical to real ore there is no practical differences between those two ores, so it means what gathering real rare ore just doesn’t worth it.
I haven't posted in this thread yet but I've had several, a Petilil I bred for in White, the first Heracross egg I hatched in Ultra Moon, and a random encounter Seismitoad in Shield. Even when you've had your fun hunting for it or you get over the excitement of getting one out of nowhere or achieving your goal, the novelty kind of only lasts for a little while. It's shiny, but then what? Unless the colors are particularly amazing and stunning, most shiny Pokemon kind of just suck to look at.
Personally, I think PLA pulled off shinies better than in other games. If they're too rare, then it becomes a slog looking for them if you're actively hunting/breeding for one to the point it isn't even worth getting it after so much time trying for one, and if they're too common they aren't really special. Getting full odds for them feels like something you truly earn, perfecting their dex pages and getting the shiny charm is a lot of work that doesn't feel as hopeless as 20 boxes of breeding rejects. And when you find them it's still very exciting, even if it's some super common mon like Bidoof or Aipom. This really only works with a game like PLA since it's all in real time and fast paced, and you'd have to be playing for a while to see one more often than not.
tl;dr shinies were never that special and they shouldn't really be considered that special because it's just a palette swap with nothing else to it
