Most pokemon start off small and are naturally afraid of humans due to the memory of them being bigger than they used to be.

>Be wild
>Have to fight everyday to get a meal
>Have to fear for your safety because a stronger predetor may come eat you at any time
>Get captured
>Trainer feeds you
>Trainer heals you
>Trainer may even spoil you
>If you are stronger than Trainer's skill level you barely have to listen to them anyways

I dunno being captured sounds like a pretty sweet deal compared to being wild sometimes,

my dog has all of food, water, shelter, love but it will go away if it has a chance

I’ve always wondered why tamed animals do this. Is it some kind of instinct or do they just want to run around?

? My dog can go away if he wants, but he doesn't

It doesn't make much sense in the context of Arceus but they apparently are willing to be friendly when caught despite that they were willing to rip out your face a minute ago. It's GameFreak trying to have their cake and eat it too.

i would be mean to my pokemon so that they beat me up

it really depends on the animal and even breed, some like to stay near home, some like to roam around and return home, some like to roam around and continue their journey forever, some like to roam around but have such a shitty sense of direction that they get lost

They crave for human cocks and pussys

>>Trainer feeds you
>>Trainer heals you
>>Trainer may even spoil you

havent done any of these things for any of my mons. i trap them in a ball and force them to fight other pokemon and break rocks and trees for me

>but it will go away if it has a chance
>I’ve always wondered why tamed animals do this. Is it some kind of instinct or do they just want to run around?

They want to run around but they get lost because they're stupid

The human might is not a force to be fucked with unless you and your species want to get extinct.

then how did humans become apex predators if pokemon were already more powerful than cavemen a million years ago?
or did humans evolve from ape pokemon too?

for the same reason why people are afraid of spiders

Why do 250lb dogs listen to you when they could kill you?
Animals don’t really have a concept of being more powerful than others or questioning their place in society, they just know they get free food if they do some arbitrary task when you ask them to

The Poke ball is a brainwashing device

>Animals don’t really have a concept of being more powerful than others or questioning their place in society
tell that to my 55lbs pitbull

Pokemon were created by intelligent design and the designer wanted them to have a natural bond with humans, but they have to earn it first.

This, You should let them roam around the neighborhood when they are small, so they know your place and can come back

It's more or less like serfdom but in the classic way to understand it, not the modern "literally slavitude" one.
With humans, Pokémon feel they can unleash all their potential, stuff that does not happen in the wild, specially with those Pokémon that evolve by friendship. They don't value being in the wild as much.
That's why they put up a fight to test you before you capture them, and grow disappointed if you are a complete weakling and don't listen to you.

You can find Chansey, Blissey, and Pikachu in the wild

what about people just want to keep them as a pet? do they get disappointed or what?

They do it as means of protection.
