I don’t understand how they afford it or how they justify it, but surely a reckoning must be on its way for such extravagant indulgence in the face of such economic times as we are entering. this user has it right. The money is starting to dry up. I'm staying in a condo near a bunch of luxury shops right now. All through 2021 there were lines of black people and obviously low-rent roasties outside (the lines exist because they limit the number who can go inside - because black people).

Those lines are gone now, the only people in line are Asian tourists. It looks like the credit has run out and the cheap money from stimulus and pandemic fraud has dried up.
