Agreed, the last thing anyone needs is an accident or breaking something/damaging material. Slow and steady for most of the job. The big hussle comes in the last few week. Im a stone guy so we do slabs at the beginning all chill then the last week is insane fixing peoples fuck ups before the owners show up.

In my experience distance running is one of the most physically painful exercises you can do, along with forearm exercises. Compared to that, the typical soreness from physical labor and lifting is just downright relaxing.
