Even hundreds of years before Christ the Greeks had a similar problem like we do today. The rich owned all the land and prices for farm land- real estate prices became too high.
The Greeks colonized the Mediterranean. They brought culture, trade and improved these new territories.
Americans cry about expensive real estate when they have 500k usd sitting in a bank account which could buy them a mansion in South America or South east Asia and set you comfortable for life.

you dont get it user, they deserve to live in beverly hills

>DUDE JUST FLEE LIKE A COCKROACH AND LIVE IN AN ALREADY ESTABLISHED FOREIGN COUNTRY WHERE YOU WILL BE A POWERLESS ALIEN FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE BUT AT LEAST YOU CAN AFFORD A BIG HOUSE AND A HOOKER WIFE ITS JUST LIKE ALEXANDER THE GREAT BRO

Americans are stupid. They think the rest of the world is there for them to tourist. I would kill to have 500k to buy some farmland in south Brazil. Literally closer to heaven than any doordash/Uber eats accessible niggerfaggot riden suburban county you can find

Too based of a comment for a stupid board like this.

>mediterranean climate
>thin, beautiful women
>low cost of living
>thousands of years of history and culture

yeah you're right i'd rather live in a country where 40-50% of young women are obese and everything is a disgusting pavement parking lot strip mall interspaced with rural heroin-addicted shanty towns.

Only 1 in 10 Americans are as wealthy as you are describing and they have it comfy so why leave?

Lol. Wtf. Mid tier burger checking in. Only 10 acres of land and a 2300 square foot house, but you wouldn't know what that means.

Colonialism went out of fashion after ww2 sadly.
Blame the usual suspects.

Isn't colonialism evil, though?

>evil
I don't care about morality.
It's just that what usually happens in history when all the opportunities have been taken from a group of people is either war(the ones without opportunities go to war) or colonization(the ones without opportunities go in search of them). Wouldn't you agree colonies are better than war?

Look, France de facto remains a colonial power in the 21st century as it retains military presence and imposes linguistic, cultural and economic influence in Africa. Has this served France well? Think it over carefully.

Yeah but I would have to be around stinky brazilians

You aren't supposed to let them into your country. You rule over theirs.

>France de facto remains a colonial power in the 21st century
I don't think so user, colonization means that there are colonies or in other words people that from France go to north africa.
It's the opposite in current year, it is France that is being colonized by north africa, most french colonists were expelled in 1960s from nafri and even more in places like Vietnam or Cambodia for obvious reasons.
>Has this served France well?
Basically this: >You aren't supposed to let them into your country.

Point is: boomers cucked younger generations out of wealth and opportunities and then cucked them again by allowing immigrants, what do now?

it's simple, we kick the can down the road and cuck the future generations even harder

You have just realised something very basic and fundamental to politics and economics, which is respectively, "Imperialism is inevitable".

> The Greeks colonized the Mediterranean. They brought culture, trade and improved these new territories.
Historian here, this was mostly to stop upcoming civil wars and in a time where it was a free for all

>Sanitation
>Genocided them all with flu
Pick one

that's not true.. the silver mines of Athens at Laurium were publicly owned.. money from the mines was their primary form of govt/military financing (absent taxes on the Delian League).. the mines at Laurium were captured by Persia during the Peloponnesian War after their treaty with Sparta in which they financed the walls and fortress of Decelea.. these walls were extended down to Laurium, cutting off Athens from access to the mines..

fucked up to realize They used hexameter infiltrate and subvert before they invented gematria

Maybe evolve better immune systems.

you cant really colonize anymore because (((reasons)))

Based and mediterranean lifestyle pilled. I don't give a fuck about what anyone says, my idea of making it is having a big ass house with a nice pool in North-Africa. I envision my days growing some weed in the mountains, reading some books, building a quality home gym and shit, eating good.

you need to learn the difference between colonialism and imperialism on the one hand and empire on the other hand. Read Alexander Dugin.
