Truebit

Most exciting coin of the future. No you can't change my mind. Trustless. Scalable. Computation.

now THIS guy knows how to code.

The Temple of Rules makes this clearly evident.

invest

with the current dump in crypto...do you think we'll see a return to sub-10 cent prices any time soon? I hate to be greedy but I'm trying to wait until it gets under 15 cents to buy anymore...but it's holding up strong

my tru stay true

if only he still worked for the project

How do you know he doesn’t

He did leave some time ago

also did anyone actually watch the whole Teutsch speech recently? He literally said "For those of you interested in TrueBit, your patience will be rewarded". That jew exudes the most extreme confidence. Personally I think TrueBit will be the next ETH in terms of price action. For a while I thought it would be the next LINK...but it seems far more thought out and well designed than LINK.

Also I think the main reason it hasn't mooned yet is the exact reason why it will eventually explode. Namely that, all of the exchanges are run by hyper-greedy finance faggots. They all demand that if you want to sell your coin on their exchange, you have to give them some of it, just so they can dump on normies. TrueBit developers refuse to do this. Exchanges can list TrueBit if they want, but they have to buy it on the open market just like anyone else.

At some point, demand will be so great for TrueBit that the exchanges will be forced to capitulate and buy, because the amount of fees they'll make from people trading TrueBit will make it worth it. I wouldn't be surprised if we saw a situation where TrueBit pumped to $2 or $3 and then the exchanges capitulate and market buy tons of it which pushes the price up to $5-$10, and then people FOMOing push it up even higher before it truly takes off. Bare minimum I think we're looking at $100-$300 per TrueBit token. Am I batshit insane for thinking this, or is it possible?

Yeah, you are batshit insane for thinking that. Do you not know about the mint/retire mechanism? I think it’s pretty important to mention when talking about price predictions. I think what you’re saying is fairly accurate in terms of marketcap; however, there are several variables that will affect the price beyond the typical supply/demand tokenomics.

>Do you not know about the mint/retire mechanism?

I think the mint/retire mechanism is going to have a lot less to do with overall price action than people think. The mint/retire mechanism exists so that people who complete off-chain computations can be rewarded fairly. I see it more as "price stability" guarantee than a total prevention of price action.

We've seen fluctuations in the truebit price where market prices goes below the mint price, so theoretically it can go above retire price. The mint and retire price also change with market fluctuations.

Basically I think mint/retire would prevent it from mooning or dumping overnight, but not in a gradual manner. You'll probably never wake up and see that TrueBit has done 100%+ price movement overnight, but over the course of a year or two? I think we could easily see multiple thousands of percents

bump, maybe I am delusional, but what are reasonable price predictions? If you are currently in top 1000 holders....is that guaranteed wealth/making it?

bump someone give a response, I want to know what I should expect. TrueBit seems so promising...

I've been holding for over a year and Jason is a fucking loser ass jew. I swear to God you're going to be waiting a MINIMUM of 5 years for this to do anything. Eth merge nowhere in sight, whole market is shit now too.

if it's adopted, who knows

bump for visibility, what can we expect from TrueBit? Does anyone have any realistic price predictions?

>Does anyone have any realistic price predictions?

Are you new here?
Never ask for price prediction for an alt here. People will just tell you ridiculously high prices so that you buy and pump their bags

I have heavy bags, but I bought more than half my truebit under 15 cents, so I'm still somehow breaking even. I plan to hold for quite some time, I'm just wondering if I should plan to sell around $1.40...or if I should just hold long term and hope it goes to $10 or higher

>You'll probably never wake up and see that TrueBit has done 100%+ price movement overnight.
Eh, I beg to differ. If you buy at retire price and sell at mint you make ~730% in ETH. The mint/retire window allows from somewhat volatile price action, but keeps it within the realm of sanity due to arbitrage.

>I'm just wondering if I should plan to sell around $1.40...or if I should just hold long term and hope it goes to $10 or higher

It it gets to $1.40 within the next 2 years I would recommend you to take the money and RUN
