What is the best rom hack / fan game?

What are some good ones you've play recently? are new? or just your favorite or all time?
pic rel is pretty funny and matches that goofy pokemon spirit.
also is is possible to make pokemon xenoverse as a cia file? I like playing these on my 3ds.

unbound got an update in december, its pretty good. lots of good qol stuff, difficulty options are cool. story is cringe as hell but its pokemon so whatever. im having a lot of fun with sandbox mode.

if you could build it for me that would be very cash money, I don't have a windows pc so I can't do it myself.

I just got into romhacks last year but Quarantine Crystal is by far the funnest Pokemon experience I've had in years

GBA VC Injector works in Wine. I have used it myself, albeit for non-Pokemon games.

I regard Clover highly for the soundtrack. Much of it are original compositions and set the mood correctly.

I don't know how to use wine, it never works when I try.
