How long until we get an explanation why he was also shoved into the past? When you finish up the Arceus fight, Arceus states that he chose the player character to be sent to the past, does that mean Ingo was chosen but failed or something? I'm also just more confused because it seems like nobody really cares if these people want to return to their original worlds or not.

the explanation is "he fell from a time hole". it starts and ends here.
it happened before, it will happen again cause its an easy lazy way to reuse characters

Is he going to die in the past?

>nooooo this literally who HAS to have a fleshed-out backstory

Why does everyone in Pokemon have a stupid fucking pose like this guy
God damn it's just the worst

You are playing a children's game

Yes, you can dig up his bones in BDSP as an easter egg

Ultra Wormhole most likely, Arceus must be slightly aware at the very least that he's here but never touches upon it. The writing is pretty bad, either on purpose for DLC reasons or side effects of a rushed game reasons. Maybe Emmet comes looking for him, maybe he resigns himself to his fate after remembering everything, maybe he just goes back. Who knows?

>fleshed-out backstory
What? Nobody is asking about his childhood or what his motivations are, we just want some closure on a clearly upsetting situation. He's been separated from his loved ones, has no idea about anything, and it's depressing to watch him act the way he does because it's all he's ever known even if he's a fish out of water. Ingo is a shell of a man and it's hard to watch even if he didn't play any major role and was just one of two "I like trains now battle me" guys in his original appearance. Asking for a resolution is only natural, if not for him then at least the player character. Not to mention it might net them a lot of fujo money if a resolution is locked behind paid DLC.

By placing him in the past they dont have to make the Battle subway in the Gen 5 remakes.

Please understand its a small third party company that needs to cut corners.

It’s a weird decision to make him an actual time traveler instead of just a descendent, like everyone else, but then choose not to resolve his story.
I agree that it would be more compelling if it were an actual important character to one of the stories, instead of a post game character from the worst instalment in Pokémon.

no, he doesn't

>This station used to host the Battle Subway
>One of the subway's two brothers went missing some time ago, and the facility was shut down to find him.
>We haven't seen either one since then...

JoJo references.

Okay…why does everyone in JJBA make stupid poses then?

Probably the same shit that hjappened to Anabel, but he went to the past instead of a different dimension.
