I trained and worked as a nurse. Shit was great but pays terribly. £20k bongs in your first year and takes years for any reasonable appreciation. Entry level supermarket jobs pay the same if not more and comes with better working hours (no 12-14 hour days), less stress, better pay appreciation and more chance of promotion for doing well in your job.
