If people can't buy an electric car for under $US7k

then they haven't done shit for the world.
Musk, Ford, Democrats, Biden have done fuck all for climate action. All they've done is produced expensive toys only the rich have the privilege to enjoy. They should get off their soap boxes and shut the fuck up. They're nothing but fake, virtue signalling upper class snobs that despise the common people.

Fuck anyone who supports them.

they dont want you to drive. they want you to sit at home and die quickly from starvation.

Based Elon fan

So don't buy a Tesla. Buy a bicycle.
Rent a Tesla maybe if you need it. I've seen apartment ads that mention a "community Tesla" for residents to borrow.

You will own nothing and be happy :)

you don't deserve anything
cry some more incel loser

I'd just do a motorcycle or scooter full time if it wasn't for the texting Canyonero drivers

Motorcycles are very fuel efficient, also extremely fast. Don’t go crazy on your first drive.

the plan allegedly is that they build themselves up by selling expensive toys to the rich. because making things cheap requires mass production economies of scale and what is funding that? the toys fund it. so we'll see if it pans out like that. personally i think they're going to mass produce cheap self driving electric cars for themselves and then not sell them to us because they'll make more money renting us access to the self driving cars using monthly subscription services. you'll just pay a monthly fee to tesla or ford and gain access to the ability to call their cars to take you places from an app. they'll make more money doing that so why sell you the car. by the time they can mass produce cars cheaply watch them also get rid of planned obsolescence since they won't benefit from that anymore since they're not selling the car.

they will be the highest quality most affordable and long lasting vehicles ever produced. and you won't be able to afford one because the pricetag will include the money the car company could make renting it out instead of selling it to you.

the democratic party is not controlled by leftists. it's a farce, a fraud, a ruse. why would any leftist political organization want to disarm their constituents e.g. with a 1000% ar-15 tax? it's absurd.

Yeah and the EU decided to go full electric. It's the dumbest idea ever. If you want to be carbon neural make some biofuels and let me keep my shitbox

I don't think electric cars are ever going to get cheap because of those huge battery packs. Whereas a petrol car is basically just a dumb chunk of iron.

aren't most cars now practically zero emissions? i guess i don't have a problem with electrification as long as the prices aren't exorbitant and i can buy a bare-bones vehicle without too much gadgetry. i would not want one with an onboard computer.

not really. an ICE is much more complex than a motor, not even including ancillary equipment line emissions control, forced induction, transmission, etc. you could build an electric car to be far more simple than a car with an ICE, because it has none of that stuff. you could build it without any computers at all.

My point is that you can't build it without a fuckhuge battery filled with chemicals. I don't give a shit about the control electronics, that's the stuff that scales with mass production. But the batteries I'm not convinced that they will scale much, arguably more production might make them more expensive due to monetary constraints.

>you could build it without any computers at all.

in fact, they pretty much already did, with that thing GM made in the 90s before they took them all back and destroyed them all because they were afraid it would cut into profits from repairs and ICE vehicle sales.

among other things, the political establishment are certainly corporate apologists.

>why would any leftist political organization want to disarm their constituents?
Can you name one revolutionary party that, after winning, became mega based on gun rights? There have been more than a few socialist/communist revolutions so I'm sure it'll be easy for you.

batteries are recyclable. even if a battery costs $10,000, you'd theoretically get a deposit for recycling it. it's also cheaper than constantly buying new ICEs and maintaining them until the cost of maintenance is high enough that you'd buy a new one, wash rinse and repeat.

but they haven't "won" user, have they? what about all those dastardly republicans always on their heels?

that's beside the point anyway, or are you really going to try and convince us "guns only for the rich" is leftist doctrine?

Yeah dude everything is fucking recyclable, in theory. In practice it's very rarely cost-effective. How much do you get for a spent Tesla battery right now?

Cuba, USSR, China, Vietnam, Yugoslavia all had socialist revolutions led by proponents of communism for the express purpose of elimination of capitalism within their borders and the pursuit of a socialist state then communism. It's simple, which one of these countries was/is mega based on gun control?

I used to commute on a 250 ninja, which even for a baby bike is pretty quick sub highway speeds like you say. I would've kept it or upgraded but central Florida
