If I really study hard during my CS course, and work hard after it, can I work in something interesting or will FAAG be the best one can work at?
I don't want to start a company, nor do I want to work on the higher end of being a wagie for the rest of my life.
Is CS a good choice at 26?

You can always start to learn CS, go for IT job exchange places, you go there, you give them your CV and hope for the best.
Have a githun with like 2-3 "okayish" projects. Easiest to learn is frontend for web developement, good luck

Having the degree is important, but do NOT skimp out on a portfolio or networking. Make shit on the side that looks like something your potential job uses/makes. If possible, get to know people that are also CS majors and work with them on something. Go to job fairs and suck some recruiter dick. Don't fall for the GPA meme.

After 25 you're too old for university.
Go work a trade or something, learn to install wires or unclog toilets. That's a better way to spend your time
