I work in tech, specifically tech writing for developer documentation (think integration guides). This is a skill that fundamentally requires a firm grasp of the English language and we cannot find anyone to fill jobs. Literally writing English is a job often given to Indians and Chinese who are ESL, because we cannot find a white person who wants this job and can do it (and it pays really well!!!).

no, that is not what investment banks are doing, some analysts cover the market this way, but that is a tiny part of what an investment bank does

yes, that is the majority of the work, M&A advisory, buy outs, cap markets transactions, takeout financing, hedge financing, bridge financing, corporate banking, asset financing, project financing etc.
