PLA is easily the hardest Pokemon game. Never before have so many of my Pokemon fainted before in a Pokemon game. The new battle system really keeps things interactive and battles feel back-to-back. The AI in PLA is easily the best it's ever been.

when they released yellow, a gen 1 game, they realized that was not a good moveset, so they changed it to rock slide (the only good rock move, at the time), screech (to soften ya up for hitmonlee/machamp), slam (still shit but it's better than rage, a broken move, and harden at least). the first onix had dig and the second had earthquake as well.

Slam is a bad gen 1 normal-type move even by comparison with other gen 1 moves, Rage is a candidate for worst move in the gen, Harden is the best move on that Onix.
