Why is it so forgettable?

Its life is as valuable as a summer ant.

I like it

i fapped to this thing earlier today

>Hustle+Hone Claws shenanigans
>Benefits more from dmax than a lot of other mons
Nah man

Why

because i can

>what are some animals we didn't rip off yet?
>ants? what if we made one of steel and called her a pocket monster™?
Rinse and repeat with half the remaining unovamons

>what are some animals we didn't rip off yet?
>seals? what if we made a water-type one and called it a pocket monster™?
>we can even call it seel since it's a seal

He was my ace in gen 6 and everyone I knew would ask me why I used him until they had to face him. No one expects that little ant bastard to have as much attack and speed as it did

>Appears in only one area in the game it debuts in, which also happens to be at the end of the game
>Only appears in two other pre-SWSH games, and in both it's only available in one area before the Hall of Fame
>No evolutions, pre-evolutions, or alternate forms
>Typing isn't unique and most other Pokémon with it's typing are considered competitively superior.
>Design is cool, but doesn't stand out much visually. The main thing separating it from being literally my mom's ant is it's lore, which most people don't know about since requires actually reading the Pokédex entries not only for Durant, but also for Heatmor, another obscure Pokémon.

>They attack in groups, covering themselves in steel armor to protect themselves from Heatmor.
>Using their very hot, flame-covered tongues, they burn through Durant's steel bodies and consume their insides.
No chance in hell I'd forget the ants who actually make themselves easier prey for their fire-type predator.

>what are some animals we didn't rip off yet?
>crabs? what if we made a small one and a big one and called them pocket monsters™?
>we can even call one of them krabby since it's a crab

an ant pokemon should have been like wishiwashi

I kinda like that though, an obscure apocalypse ant which would surely destroy the world if not for a predator who has adapted perfectly to killing them leading to them both being confined to a small area.

wishiwashi wasn't even strong in it's school form

>he doesn't use truant durant

Still pretty respectable to me

Giant ants in videogames have always been memorable to me ever since my little babby brain was influenced by Fallout 3

How do you niggas tolerate having a pokemon whose 100% accuracy attacks miss just as much as stone edge

he's pretty cool, got some neat lore with heatmor and i mean even besides that it's a giant ant, who could hate titanic ants?
